i have to admit that i have been in love with the idea of hawaii for a long time. my college roommate and i almost moved to oahu after we graduated. but we chickened out... and a tiny part of me regrets that. i mean... one viewing of blue crush and i was hooked.
if you decide to go there, here is a little help with choosing which island(s) to go to.
oahu- nothing says hawaii like surfing the north shore and catching some rays on waikiki beach.
maui- here you can find some of the best beaches in the world and may even catch a glimpse of a humpback whale. stroll the streets of historic lahaina and have a mai tai at a local beach bar.
lanai- this is a tiny island getaway that feels like a world away from it all. perfect for romance, seclusion and luxury.
big island- explore the vast climates of this island… from sandy beaches to snow-capper mountains. there is lots to do here for adventure seekers and spa goers alike.
kauai- this island is ideal for hikers and nature enthusiasts who also love to relax and take in the sunset.
molokai- discover sleepy towns and true hawaiian culture on this classic island.
