Wedding Trend: Natural Bark

I love seeing natural elements at weddings… as part of the décor and ambiance. Bringing outside in can be a great way to incorporate the setting into your whole wedding look. Birch bark is a favorite of mine. Birch trees often drop their bark, so collecting and repurposing the bark in environmentally friendly. An the bark looks amazing with various color combinations and styles.

Le Macaron Obsession

These delicious treats are popping up everywhere in the wedding world lately. The original, authentic French sweet is simple and gorgeous. I love the delicate colors, their versatility on dessert tables, as favors and as décor, and of course the taste. There are plenty of online resources for ordering them… or check out your local bakery for this sweet delight.

Featured Colorado Vendor: Tee & Cakes

I have to admit that the cupcake tasting was a highlight of the wedding planning so far. When I first set foot inside the small, but perfectly simple cupcake shop, Tee & Cakes in Boulder, I was already sold. And once I tasted the triple chocolate, coconut, and carrot cupcakes… I knew I found my wedding dessert!
We met with Kim and tasted many delicious flavors, finally settling on four for our event. They come in these great pink boxes with little separators that keep each treat secure and perfect.
I know my guests will love them as much as I do.
Tee & Cakes was recently featured on the Food Network for their bacon cupcake!
